Congratulations to TIFO on its 30th anniversary.

The Mansfield Foundation and TIFO share a special bond: we were born out of a time of adversity in our relationships and we are committed to the idealism and optimism that says that through exchanges, study and hard work, we can narrow differences, identify common ground, and work together toward a brighter future.

The Mansfield Foundation is grateful to TIFO for the support you have offered us for our Network for the Future Program, as well as our programs to engage China on energy security and climate change.

We look forward to watching TIFO in the decades to come as you work to help weave together the fabric of community across the Indo-Pacific.

　マンスフィールド財団とTIFOは特別な絆を共有しています。私たちは共に、80年代、日米関係の逆境の時代に生まれました。両財団に共通するのは、交流、研究と研鑽を通じて、相手との違いを狭め、共通の基盤を見出すことができるという理想主義と楽観主義であり、より明るい未来に向かって協働するという姿勢です。

　TIFOには、私どもの進める「Network for the Future Program」、および「エネルギー安全保障と気候変動に関する日米中の協働への取り組み」に対する支援を頂き感謝しています。

　日米は今後、インド太平洋地域を跨ぐ共同体を作り上げていきますが、TIFOの今後の末長いご活躍を期待しております。
