    Award Ceremony of Japanese Essay Contest by Chinese Students and Japanese Teachers Forum

    The awards ceremony for winners of the Japanese language essay contest organized by the China-Japan Collaboration Research Center was held on December 12, 2016, in Beijing. This year the competition attracted 5,000 students, the highest number ever. Eighty-one first-, second- and the third-degree winners were recognized in the ceremony, as were eight Japanese teachers from different parts of China; they received Excellent Instructor awards and reported on their individual results. Mr. Bai Yu, a graduate of Lanzhou University in Nanjing, received the Most Excellent Award, donated by the Japanese ambassador, for his essay, “Teaching by Japanese Teachers who Changed my Life”.
