U.S.-Japan Network for the Future and the Mansfield-Luce Asia Scholars Network
The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation operates the U.S.-Japan Network for the Future, a 2-year program to foster next-generation leaders able to promote understanding between Japan and the United States, and the Mansfield-Luce Asia Scholars Network, a 1-year program to increase exchanges among East Asian researchers, primarily in Japan, the United States and Korea. The 2021 Network for the Future program included a webinar and conference to commemorate Dr. Ezra Vogel, the prominent East Asian scholar, while the Asian Scholars Network program included a retreat in Montana and a two-week study trip to Asia.
